The Unbelievable Exaggerations And Twisting Of Our Constitutional Freedoms

The things that are occurring, supposedly guaranteeing us our God given freedoms and rights are preposterous. Where things are moved to ridiculous extremes in one way and shut completely out in others. It would be hilarious if it were not so horrible, criminal in fact.

Basically, I am speaking two aspects of our freedoms. One concerns both religious freedom and freedom of speech. The other, abortion.

Look at the situation. More and more restrictions are being placed upon Christianity and Judaism in so far as the guaranteed non-interference of the government to the free exercise of our religion. Christianity, by far the largest religion on the earth, is now forbidden to speak of our God, Jesus, the cross, or anything else worthy of being heard, in a public assembly. Yet atheists are free to profess there is no God wherever they may be. Muslims also are given time off to pray 5 times per day whatever they are doing. See if a Christian student can take loose 2 or 3 times to say a prayer.

Christians are not allowed to preach publicly against abortion or homosexuality, both of which are condemned by the bible and the Christian has the obligation to teach that truth.

Now, to venture into a more ridiculous area. I agree that people should have the right to speak their conscience anywhere. But, where in the name of common sense can you get freedom of speech to include freedom to form masses and stop traffic, strew feces around in public parks and urinate publicly where ever one is at the time. Where does free speech include disobeying officers of the law and even fighting them and in some cases injure or perhaps kill one or someone else. How is freedom of speech expressed by destroying public and private property? We are assured the right of peaceful assembly. But that was not intended to include any of the above, nor even to block traffic.

And we come to the point of taking an innocent life. A fetus is understood everywhere, to everyone, to be a living being. Yet the mother of the child and doctors licensed to perform such, have the right(?) to take that life. And the excuses they give are pathetic. They say that it isn’t a living being if it cannot live outside the mother’s womb. Well, where did they come up with intellectual gem?

Just today, in our local daily paper, there is a case where one woman shot another during an argument. The victim was pregnant in her first trimester. The baby was aborted, due to the shooting but they do not yet have confirmation that this was the cause of it’s death. The mother is expected to live and be alright. The accused, thus far has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, but the police state that, when the cause of death is confirmed she may be charged with murder. And rightfully so.

But how do we make such a distinction? Why is this dead fetus more human than the one whose mother and her doctor sucked it’s tiny brain out before it was fully born? Or killed in any other way? Only mothers and doctors can be allowed to kill babies? Even a teenager who somehow aborts her own child and throws it into a garbage bin, isn’t allowed to do that.

“…for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” (Romans 12:19 KJV)

Doesn't it just want to make you scream, a howling disquieting upsetting scream. It makes you wonder from whence come these issues. Great job.

Indeed. But we have arrived at the point that laws are made, and or interpreted to suit the fancy of a few, with no morality involved whatsoever. It is good that our plgrimage here is as short as it is.

After Lot, Abraham's nephew became surrounded in the evil area of Sodom and Gomorrah, the scriptures tell us "(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) " (2nd Peter 2:8) Thanks for the comment Christofer.

And also, remember from Hebrews. "Here on earth have we no place, no continuing place." Keeps your eyes on the prize instead of where you are currently camped out.
