2012: Predictions Abound, Doomsday Prophecies, Some Scary

A Russian blogger, Mat Rodina, has quite a large blog site with articles dating back to 2007. I have not read many of his blogs and, heretofore have had little interest in his views. He has now installed a lengthy prognostication of the new year, 2012. It is his views of what may actually occur this year and, although I don’t agree with a number of his expectations, he does list enough facts to make one stop and consider what he says.
He especially paints a bleak picture for the United States, of which bias can be detected, yet his predictions may not be as far fetched as they seem. I think, rather that he has exaggerated them in his mind more than anything else and has been subjected to much more anti-American rhetoric. Here is a paragraph from his section on the U.S.:
This year, more then likely, America will transfer fully into a police state dictatorship. Sure, they will still have an “election” but the Republican candidate will be handpicked by the party’s elites, to make sure he loses to Obama and that Obama remains in power. By midyear the government will have the right to arrest without warrant or accusation “terrorists” and their “enablers”. This will be just in time, as inflation will continue to sky rocket and nations will continue moving away from the dollar. An example of this was the recent announcement from China and Japan that they will no longer use the USD in inter-nation trade, just another blow against the only real export the US has, outside of scrap metal and corn. Several major standoffs and shootouts with groups of sovereignty seekers will occur. (2012: The year we entered the tunnel: Mat-Rodina Blogspot)
He goes on to describe the burgeoning violence from blacks and “Mexicans” against whites and Asians and that the Federal Law Enforcement agencies will “look the other way” as the oppressors get theirs.
He ends his section on the U.S. with a statement as radical as the rest of it:
Of course, then there’s the God factor. God punished the US with the many plagues, but the US elites have continued to practice greater and greater evil while the mindless masses screaming its not our fault (but we’re a Republic damn it!) continue to holler and yelp in glee at every new war footage to entertain them. God gave America 1. Heavy winters, 2. Flooding, 3. Fires, 4. Drought, 5. Hurricane Flooding in the NE, 6. Crop Failures, 7. Earthquakes, 8. Early and heavy blizzards in Oct….eight plagues that have all been ignored. As is the way of God, things will only get worse as His rage grows. (Ibid)
Briefly, some of the other nations will face the following items:
Mexico: He says he had been predicting this for two years now, but he adds that this year, it will happen, Mexico will finally collapse completely. His reasoning here is that, according to him, the nation currently has control of less than half of their territory. There have been over 300 gangland murders in the capital this year, according to him.
He continues to say that the violence will become so bad that it will overwhelm the Mexican government and will spill over into Arizona, creating chaos in that state, and also spilling over into the Gulf, New Mexico and California.
Brazil: “Their tens of millions of poor will bring the country and government to a standstill.” is the essence of his prediction for them.
Much civil strife will come to Argentina over their insane “terrorism bill” and the unrest will cause them to seek out an enemy, the Falk Islands, for the much oil there, and Britain will respond again.
I must quote his brief remarks on Cuba to finish my critique:
Cuba: Fidel will finally meet his maker this year and a nationalist government will seize power. This is not the good news that it would seem to the US, as those very same nationalists will start agitating for the Florida Keys and Miami, both effectively Cuban territories due to the mass migrations over the past 40 years. Top-level comments on this article: (2 total)I am not sure how people who want all of these things to happen keep control of themselves as they predict hotly that which they wish for. I am not sure why populations will all start killing each other unless they are not fed. One thing our modern world has done pretty well, is keep people fed. Preventing revolution is the goal of most modern states. Oh well. I don't think these predictions are accurate, but we shall see.Thanks for reading and the comment, Christofer. I agree. I think people just enjoy jumping onto some yarn and try to make something of it.
I'm the author of this piece and the blog. Mat Rodina is Russian (and same in most Slavic languages) meaning Mother Land.
By the way, the facts on Mexico (as well as on other nations) are straight out of the news of this and last year and easily checked on the internet. Considering that most generals of the Mexican army and police run their own mafias, the control is actually even less.
As for why nations go to war, it is rarely over food. People, as in rabble go to war or rather on the rampage over food. Well fed nations often go to war as war is more then just food: its about prestige, loot, gold, territory, trade, resources or as what the US has been supporting for the past 20 years: Islamic Jihad, Sunni of course, as the US is against Shiites.Thank you for reading and commenting Stanislav.
