Things Just Aren’t Going Well For Obama And The Libs

It seems that, each time President Obama opens his mouth, another bit of his ratings drop out. Every incentive he advocates, his ratings drop. Those who are leading proponents of his, are becoming frantic. Back in late January or early February, Obama called on the public to return to ‘civility’. Here is one of a number of different headlines you can find from back then:
And many people echoed that call. It is something we need to watch. But it apparently only was intended for the conservatives, or any others who were opposed to the current White House policies.
Teamsters president Jimmy Hoffa, Jr., in a rousing warm up speech before the president was to speak on September 5 in Detroit, was ridiculing the ‘Tea Party’ (which is not a party) and made this civil(??) remark “Hoffa On Tea Party: ‘Let’s Take These Sons Of Bitches Out!’” (Headline from ABCnews.go.com)
And of course, Maxine Water’s now infamous civil speech as follows: “I’m not afraid of anybody,” Waters said at the summit in Inglewood, Calif. “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the ‘tea party’ can go straight to Hell.”
When anyone attacks another individual or group in such a manner…yes, they are afraid of them. Following is a response to Maxine’s remark made by the ‘Tea Party Patriots’ in the Washington Post’s ‘PostPolitics’ section;
“We’ve had Democrats calling American citizens ‘terrorists’ and ‘hostage takers,’ and now an elected Democratic representative says that we can ‘go straight to hell,’” the group Tea Party Patriots said. “The president and all leaders of the Democratic Party, who have called for civility in the past, are neglecting to censure their own. Is civility only required from their opponents? Perhaps it’s time for a new-NEW era of civility. ... The president’s silence on these latest violations of civility has been deafening, but not surprising.”
One would think that the administration would realize that the president’s favorable rating will be non-existent soon if such ranting continues. And couple these frantic antics with the with one under the table favoritisms after another, naturally the numbers are going to fall. And not only the president but the party, itself is going to be in the same category of advocates as the minimal third parties.
We have only recently seen an additional Democratic seat in the House being replaced by a Republican in New York. Also a special election in Nevada vacated by a Republican was replaced by another Republican. This now gives the House 243 Republicans. So as the mountain becomes more and more difficult to climb, the Democratic party becomes more and more frustrated. But as I have said many times…they simply will not learn by their mistakes. The ridicule and criticism towards the ‘Tea Party’ only enhances the resolve and the growth of that group. Decency and civility seems to be traits that elude them.
We also have a strong breaking of another scandal(?) in the Solyndra solar panel manufacturing failure. The White House is now being investigated for allegedly pressuring the Office of Management and Budget to loan Solyndra since that company folded last week owing taxpayers $535 million dollars. Here is a statement from an official from the OMB:
One e-mail from an OMB official referred to “the time pressure we are under to sign-off on Solyndra.” Another complained, “There isn’t time to negotiate.”
“We have ended up with a situation of having to do rushed approvals on a couple of occasions (and we are worried about Solyndra at the end of the week),” one official wrote. That Aug. 31, 2009, message, written by a senior OMB staffer and sent to Terrell P. McSweeny, Biden’s domestic policy adviser, concluded, “We would prefer to have sufficient time to do our due diligence reviews.” (Solyndra loan: White House pressed on review of solar company now under investigation: Washington Post)
These “behind the scene” favors to companies and unions, especially when our finances are being flushed down the toilet, can hardly be expected to endear the administration in the eyes of the voting public.
Obama’s recent jobs proposal further alienated many people. It contained nothing more than his previous stimulus packages and attempts to tax the job producers into not producing any.
