Russian Pravda.ru: US can arrange the Third World War outside the USA

There is little wonder that the people of Russia detest westerners. A recent opinion article published in the online English version of their Pravda.ru, entitled “US to launch WWIII to rescue 'American empire'” has some of the most nonsensical propaganda one can find. In the same day’s posting is also an article titled “Israel and USA are killing Iranian Scientists”.

No wonder half the world considers us an “Evil Empire”. I realize that our CIA operates world-wide and there are many covert missions which we, the public do not hear of, but to dream up such ridiculous lies as this and expect their people, and probably many others, to accept it without question seems paranoid, or something.

The article rambles through an interview by a representative from Pravda.ru and with their "expert" Geidar Jemal, the chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia. It makes little common sense. But after they continue to down play the Jewish influence in the U.S. and make a number of other unsubstantiated remarks, they concentrate on what runs the liberal power in the states. Here is one conclusion they make.

"Of course, when we talk about the structure of power in the US, we can not avoid the subject of the role of the Jewish lobby. I'd say that the influence of this lobby in America is exaggerated considerably. Jewish money is easy money. This money is not really vital for the States. The Jews control many spheres there connected with the entertainment industry - show business, alcohol and media market, including advertising. The things that are more important - the things that determine the fate of the American empire such as the defense complex, steel, oil, etc - those things don't belong to the Jews. The media dollar is thus less important than the petrodollar.

"In this case, the Jewish factor is used as the smokescreen, so that people don't react to conspiracy disclosures, so that they dodge the understanding of the point of the American empire." (US to launch WWIII to rescue 'American empire'-July 19,2011, Pravda.ru)

And their final determination is worded with this ending:

"Many countries do not want to follow the "Washington consensus" anymore because of the crisis. This would mean the collapse of the American empire with its "bubble economy." The US is not going to let this happen. The only way out is to impose its will with the use of force. To put it in a nutshell, the US can arrange the Third World War outside the USA - the war that the States will be able to control." (Ibid)

Who knows just what their motive or proposed objective of writing things like this. Perhaps it is to enhance hatred towards the western world, or fear-mongering in order to keep their citizens thinking they are knowledgeable of things to come.

You are right, one never knows, Anon, thanks for reading and the comment. But the U.S. can't afford the 3 limited wars we are now in. We certainly can't fund a world war. Nor can we "control" it as their article states.
