Illegals Can Rape and Kill Yet We Must Get Mexico’s Approval to Punish?

Seventeen years ago, Humberto Leal Garcia, an illegal Mexican national committed one of th most heinous crimes imaginable. Read this description listed one source which explains it in detail better than I would be able to:
In 1994, Leal Garcia abducted 16-year-old Adria Sauceda, who was "pumped full of alcohol, cocaine, and marijuana" and had already been "brutally savaged" by nine men "taking turns" at a backyard party. Leal "raped her some more before finally ending her misery by crushing in her skull with a 35 lb chunk of asphalt" and leaving her on the side of the road with a stick protruding from her lifeless body. (Dreamers and the Illegal Nightmare: Jeannie DeAngelis, The American Thinker-July 5, 2011)
The High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, has called on the Texas Governor to commute the sentence to life imprisonment. An article on FoxNews.com also states that several former U.S. law enforcement officials and ex-diplomats appealed last month that Garcia's execution be blocked, arguing it puts the safety of Americans at risk abroad.
How much logic do you see in these bleeding heart remarks? How much mercy was extended to Adria Sauceda? An innocent citizen of the United States. How much safety risk was she in with this satanic human on the streets, illegally?
The case was even taken to the world court at the Hague because of a technicality! Not because of evidence or lack of evidence, but a technicality. I encourage all to visit the court record of this court’s split decision of 7 to 5 judges at the Hague. This court, like the U.N., has it’s share of anti-American bias and were able to find reason to fault the Texas process, while 5 judges disagreed and you will find their two dissenting opinions following the main ruling. Click Here for the document.
The Obama administration has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court to halt the execution. Here is a quote from that request:
The execution of Humberto Leal Garcia, who was sentenced to death for the 1994 crimes, "would place the United States in irreparable breach of its international-law obligation to afford (Leal) review and reconsideration of his claim that his conviction and sentence were prejudiced by Texas authorities' failure to provide consular notification and assistance under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations," wrote Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr., in a friend-of-the-court brief. (Obama and U.N. seek delay in execution of Mexican national: CNN Wire Staff; July 1, 2011)
This has placed Texas Governor Rick Perry in a straight. He has already stated that he does not have this authority under Texas law without the consent of the Parole Board. Perry who is expected to enter the race for the GOP presidential nominee, is also being bombarded with citizens urging him not to intervene in the execution. If ordered to do so by the Supreme Court, I don’t know that he has much choice at all, but either way, there will be those who blame him. It is obvious that he does not wish to intervene and I feel confident that he will not unless he is faced with no other option.
This is only one more reason that the United States should throw the United Nations out of this country and withdraw membership. The same goes with the world court in the Hague, and also the rules contained in the Geneva Convention. There is nothing more unfair than for others to tell us how we should abide by strict rules while they, themselves break them with impunity. Despite the fact that the U.S. has been known for it’s charitable efforts to almost every nation at one time or another and our tremendous amount of funds paid annually in foreign aid and in trade, many countries despise us and are delighted to see us damaged or hurt in any way. These prejudices show themselves in the global organizations and is a sound reason not to partake of them.
Treaties with countries we trust and to form reciprocal pledges of defense are wise and good, but to waste time and money on those who hate us, only to be stabbed in the back when we need their support, is a lack of sanity.
This particular case with Garcia, is a perfect example. Suppose an American had committed such an act in Iran. Even Pakistan, or almost any other country. How much mercy and consideration would be extended? Even carrying a bible into some countries can cause one extreme grief. The United States can certainly remain one of the “Good Guys” and always see that justice is done, but to allow justice to be thwarted only because of those who despise us, is unacceptable.

Top-level comments on this article: (2 total)Joel this was some story, shocking to the core. The guy is pure evil and in a case as such I believe an eye for eye regardless Thank you for sharing
Keep well
KacyThank you Kacy. I have tried, over the years to learn to hold my temper. But sadly, I have failed. I cannot bring myself to feel for criminals such as this. I have the strongest possible love and affection for old dogs and young girls. It tears my heart out to hear of one being so brutally molested as was this one. My wife and I raised three daughters whom I loved (and still do) more than my own life. I can't even begin to imagine what may have happened to me if one of my daughters had been so abused.
The "old dogs" above was not intended to be funny. Nothing can bring tears to my eyes quicker than a pitiful old dog, being mistreated. Again, I appreciate your reading and commenting.
Joel,
You have absolutely no reason to hold your temper in check for this story. Humberto Garcia could never in this lifetime recieve a punishment that he deserves. I disagree with the Obama Administration in the strongest terms with their request to commute this sentence. Thank you for writing this article and let's hope Gov. Perry is not forced to intervene.
JDThank you Judge for your kind remarks. I sincerely appreciate them.
