If you are about to ask, what does one of these have to do with the other…don’t ask. They have nothing in common other than both are unlikely to ever be resolved. After many of the claims concerning the “man-caused” phenomena were shown to be phony and scams, the debate receded somewhat. But those with “Chicken Little” type phobia simply cursed under their breath and continued to be convinced that humans were destroying our ozone layer.
The Chicken Little mimics kept on and on about our polluting the air with Carbon Dioxide. The fact is however, Carbon Dioxide is in no way, a pollutant. It is a normal part of the chemical makeup of our atmosphere. And, the breakdown shows the minute amount of the CO2 could not possibly regulate the global temperature. Check this breakdown out. This is the analysis at sea level and at 15 degrees Celsius (59-60 F).
Nitrogen 78.084%
Oxygen 20.9476%
Argon 0.934%
CO2 0.0314 (less than 1/3 of 1/10%)
Neon 0.001818%
Helium 0.000524%
Methane 0.0002%
There exists many times more water vapor in the atmosphere than CO2 molecules and water vapor has much more influence on the atmospheric temperature. CO2 is actually beneficial to the environment. Plant growth thrives on added CO2 and then they in turn, produce more Oxygen.
A stratagem by global government proponents connected with the United Nations, developed the farce and went to all lengths to propagate it. Their plan was to create a global tax under the subterfuge of investing billions into all nations efforts to curb the CO2 emissions. Once the U.N. would have a global hand in the pot, a few steps further and the global governance would be established. People such as Al Gore and also numerous unscrupulous scientists who could see years of large grants coming their way, fed false data into the system to try and alarm the people. Fortunately we had a lot of honest and ethical scientists who would not buy into the scam.

Top-level comments on this article: (1 total)A very scientific justification for continuing in our careless ways Joel. I would only like to make one observation. Do we keep our homes clean? I suspect the majority of people irrespective of their financial means try to do so.
Do we continue in that mentality once we leave our house?Depends on what you refer to as clean, Terrence. Most people can't get it in their head that CO2 is not unclean. I know of no one who argues that we should not clean up the pollution in our air. CO2 is not pollution. By the way, try visiting house to house these days, if you think most keep their homes clean.
