Trying To Understand the Pedophiles and Other Criminals Minds

Most people, it seems, have a desire to obey civil laws, perhaps not to the nth degree at all times, such as driving over the posted limit, etc. But we are here speaking of felonious crimes. In my attempts to research and report on crimes both of local and national nature, I am appalled at the numerous vile crimes which have so little to gain and so much to lose.
“As a medical diagnosis, pedophilia (or paedophilia) is typically defined as a psychiatric disorder in adults or late adolescents (persons age 16 and older) characterized by a primary or exclusive sexual interest in prepubescent children (generally age 13 years or younger, though onset of puberty may vary). The child must be at least five years younger in the case of adolescent pedophiles.”
That description is easily understood, but the causative factor eludes most of us. The sex drive in humans normally is strong, and in some, very strong, but there has to be some quirk or mental disorder for people to allow it to destroy them. Many ordinary heterosexuals allow their pent up desires or cravings to drive them to rape and even murder. Even though the sexual urge for the opposite sex is a normal biological reaction, when it reaches the degree for one to kill or rape, there is a perverted mind somewhere. Homosexuals contend that their lust for the same sex is natural, cannot help but know better than that. It is a perversion just as these other extremes are.
Would one attempt to say that pedophilia is natural? Absolutely not. None of these type perversions are natural, just as bestiality is a perversion. But to harm or kill an innocent child simply for satisfaction of an sexual urge, should be considered insanity. It is completely incompatible with civilized humanity.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations has an open drive to try and round up as many child abusers as possible. Two press releases were received by this writer, one a 34 year old man who was addicted to child pornography in a big way, even to bringing young boys into his apartment and videotaping them while committing sexual activities. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and be under supervised release for the remainder of his life. Thirty four years old, his life is ruined, in prison until he is 49, then a marked man for the remainder of his life, looked upon scornfully. Just to satisfy some sort of perverted mind to look at nude children’s photos, some of which were committing some type of sexual acts. I hope he got a lifetime worth of pleasure out of looking at them.
The other case was a somewhat older man who had sexually molested a young girl. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison with supervised release afterward, for life. Good grief! What a price to pay for a few minutes of perverted pleasure!!
Today, I received a link from the FBI to a letter where they are appealing to the public assistance “Helping Law Enforcement Find Missing Children”. Some of these no doubt were taken from one parent by the other after a divorce and cases such as this, but their welfare is still at risk. But some have no doubt been killed by some mentally warped person who gets his funnies by molesting children. It is a lengthy letter so I will simply link to it for those who have an interest. Demonic influences twist and influence human minds to do such acts; almost all cruel perversions and sociopathic lusts originate in the evil unseen spirit world of the gangster fringe element who, unseen, prey on and effect especially weak minds, minds who always misinterpret these satanic whispers of unnatural crazy desires, as their own.
