Osama bin-Laden location revealed

As far as the general public, at least here in America, has known, most have thought that al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin-Laden has been holed up in the rugged mountainous region of northeastern Pakistan just over the border from Afghanistan. He is thought to have retreated to that point after the massive invasion of Afghanistan in the early part of this decade. But with the help of his international network, he has been able to elude foreign troops and in most cases intelligence forces also.

So far as strong confirmation is concerned, he still may not be found, however, some sources seem convinced that he is presently living in a hideaway in Iran. An article in the Hong Kong Herald states that Israeli intelligence has knowledge of his location in the town of Sabzevar in northeastern Iran where he and his number two deputy sidekick, al-Zawahiri have lived for the past five years.

If the Israelis know where he is, it is very likely that our own CIA also knows. If we know, then of a certainty, we will spook him and give him a good head start to a more safe haven.

The article also states that intelligence officials were first alerted to his whereabouts when Prime Minister Recep Erdogan, of Turkey, expressed to a Kuwaiti newspaper that he was aware of Iran harboring bin-Laden.

U.S. Intelligence has suspected that al-Qaeda operatives in Iran have been allowed to slip out through Syria to plot attacks on American targets.

Osama Bin Laden has become such a mythical creature, I wonder if anything that's reported about him is true. I'd love to know how many conflicting reports there have been about him altogether!

I know what you mean Jennifer and I agree. This one sounds as if it may be legitimate, however, if it is, he has more than likely already changed locations. He is sly as a fox.
