Advent of Herbal Incense Smokes Can Harm Our Children-Beware

There are now several herbs being marketed which produce mind-altering sensations. They are not controlled, not illegal, even children can purchase them while those who sell remain impune.
These sales have now become fairly plentiful in the state of Alabama. Most retail sales are not advertised or even mentioned, since the consequences might be detrimental to the supplier even though legal.
Many of the others have proven to be difficult to obtain accurate descriptions of their reactions on users. It seems as if most of them have some similar type of reaction. One distributor has the following listed on their sales page:

The Prichard, Alabama Chief of Police, Jimmie Gardner, has been trying to convince two outlets in his town to stop selling these products even though they are not illegal and he has no authority to force the issue. In an interview with the Press-Register", he named two kinds of these which were being sold locally called Voodoo Spice' and Magnolia Rush'. These products sell for $25.00.A spokesperson from the office of the chief stated that she did not know what the size or weights of those products were but she said they were relatively small. Judging by those prices of similar products being sold via the internet, it is likely that those were units of 2-3 grams each. One such source advertises a minimum sale of 1,000 grams of Magnolia Rush for $2,000.
Another product which is available online is named Serenity Now' and is advertised on one website for one 3 gram package for $43.80 or five 3 gram packages for $193.45.
Whether or not these herbal products are addictive, dangerous to one's health, or anything else, has yet to be determined and whether or not they will ultimately become illegal, is not known either, although some lawmakers in the Midwest are currently looking into such matters. But one thing seems very obvious, the cost of these things should be prohibitive enough to cause them to be unsuccessful.

I would be more scared, but I have put my body through way worse pain. I really don't want to smoke the rest of it, but because of the price and probation, i am going to.Man, don't do it! Just chalk it up to experience and let it go.why did you smoke so much? you only need a puff or two. you may want to go and see a doctor for heart problems. i know a ton of people who smoke serenity and never heads of anyone complaining about thier heart. you should probaly not smoke this if it makes your heart hurt. if being that (i am assuming you are an adult so do what you would like but use common sense) you are going to smoke again, either just dont or smoke way less. i know if it made my heart hurt, i wouldnt smoke it. go see your doc. and try getting a stress test if you continue having chest pain.i smoked King Krypto for about three months straight approx.100 grams, on July 31 2010 I suffered a Heart Attack. I stopped that night and my Heart rate has returned to normal and my BP is lower. Im not saying that the Krypto caused it, but what Ive been hearing on the news is alot of people are haveing simular problems. There has been a death in Dallas attributed to K2 a teenager. Im 47 years old and if you want to make it to my age Quit that stuff now and just eat the cost of it. I'll be 80 next month and I've never used drugs in any form...never smoked a marajuana joint..nothing. Those who do are asking for problems. I have never needed a drug to prop me up
I smoke this stuff nd i have to say yeah we dont know what is being put into our bodys but soon we will all we know now is it is synthetic cannabis and if it allows us to be undetected on cops radar than yeah we are going to continue smoking this its not going to go away it is only going to get larger imo im not saying its something to worry aborry but it could get out of handFriend, I don't know how to respond to this. Personally, I think you are being very foolish. Why must you do things like this to get "high", or whatever it is that it does to you. After the sensations are gone, all you have is less money. I wish you would try and turn your thoughts to something better for you and certainly less expensive. Instead of smoking this stuff, spend some time studying the Holy Bibe and the religion taught by Jesus and his apostles. If you study enough, you will become very interested in it.
PLEASE READ THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! many of you are very uninformed on the truth. this product didnt just come out of the blue. it was invented in germany over 15 years ago as an alternative to thc. i love this product and smoke it when i feel like it. the first time i smoked it i didnt understand it and infact wasnt really happy with it. i gave it another go and i can say i like it. when i come home from work i kick back in my easy chair and relaz. i am able to take about 2 puffs and find it to be really calming. now, none of you have to smoke it and thats fine. no one will make you. I on the under hand really enjoy it. my wife doesnt. everyone is different. i am a hard worker and i dont need anyone to tell me that i cant smoke what i please. its bad enough that i cant smoke marijuana ( which is crap) because i cant fail a urinalysis at my work. i have a family to take care of. please dont try to tell me how to live. america is screwed up enough. another thing, i hear about all the murders in mexico because of pot. I think its ridiculous and very stupid. I think it should be banned. It's being used for smoking to get high I'm from Ocean Springs, Ms and not yet have I heard or read where people are using any of it for a calming incense but for a RIDICULOUS HIGH. My brother smoked "mojo" about three days ago he's only 15 and can get it hisself. For one its an herbal inscent, two its sprayed with hello! Chemicals!! And three but deffinitly far from last of many reasons, I'm against it but the people who are selling it are making so much money and taking from our people to give them chemicals to smoke not really knowing what the harms are but knowing what most people are now buying it for. What's our society coming to I would have never had kids if I knew our society would be so easily allowed to become this way its pitiful. But anyway, thanks to you genious people my brother has bought this crap, smoked it and no joke left thirty minutes ago for the hospital because he's so sick. He never gets sick he's been this sick one time in his life and it was from a virus the whole family had. My moms been trying to break his fever of 103 for two days now he finally got to the point he can't eat, can't talk, throwing up constantly, isn't making sense when he talks, and can't seem to wake up real good. He has smoked a lot of weed which is natural but I still do not agree to or agree to it becoming legal ever. But need I say more its harmful as human consumption if no side effects shown now I'm pretty positive there will be with time. It's chemicals.

Just move to Denver Colorado and get your Medical Marijuana License its so easy to get and the green is fire hahaOK here it goes. Im a 29 yr old female and my boyfriend is 32. We went to a head shop in the Dallas area the other day and woke up in the hospital.. I DO NOT DO DRUGS... I have only smoked weed for aprox 8 months or so and only on a rare occasion and my boyfriend does not smoke weed at all. We have smoked K2 once when it first appeared on the market and it did not affect us any differently than normal weed just seemed to last for a shorter period of time. Being from Oklahoma and recently moving to texas I had never stepped foot in a real head shop before so my boyfriend took me to one.. We were talking to the guy behind the counter and the next thing we know we get on the subject of K2, incense and flavored tobacco. We then watched the guy behind the counter pull out a water pipe that he acknowledged as a house piece and loaded it with the newest incense flavored tobacco on the market for another customer. Now picture this my boyfriend and I are dressed very nice and do not look like dopers and are not worldly knowleadged about the different alternative products out there only what we have heard from other people and internet. We became curious about what the guy behind the counter had loaded and asked a few questions about it and he continued to call it a flavored tobacco with a new great taste that was not overdone. He then offered us a sample taste of this product.. Now I know what you might be thinking why in the world would you try something from a head shop and I didn't think you could actually smoke in the head shop "which I dont think you can". But when something is presented to you in the way that this was presented to us there was not a mind altering chemical in this stuff.. We then proceeded to try this product.. My boyfriend took one smoke and I took 3. It took merely seconds and we started having some crazy mind altering affects.. I could see him but I could not say anything and could not control my body from shaking. We proceeded to walk to the truck and climb in. My boyfriend said that he was talking to me telling me that he did not feel good and did not like the feeling he was having it felt very bad and i was not responding at all and when he looked over at me I had a blank stare on my face and you could look right threw me like I had no sole. He thought I was messing with him until he proceeded to shake me a little and I did not respond and closed my eyes. He freaked out and jumped out of the truck and ran to my side pulling my stiff body that had passed out, out of the truck and proceeded to start CPR on me because I had stopped breathing. Mind you we are still in front of the head shop. He was calling for help and it took a min for anyone to come out and help him. Someone called 911 and the ambulance showed up. One of the guys from behind the counter came outside and told my boyfriend she will be ok it does this it will take a min and I would come out of it and then it would proceed to go in and out for a while.. What kind of crap is this... Once my boyfriend revived me and the paramedics arrived he passed out and stopped breathing. They revived both of us and got us back in the truck and did a few tests on us and it was some time before they came to the conclusion that we needed to go to the hospital. Needless to say that was one hell of a day from smoking flavored tobacco. We went into the head shop at 10am and did not get back to the truck that was still parked in front of the head shop till 6pm or so.. When the hospital did release us which i am not real sure that they should have they considered us to have a substance abuse and thought that we had done this to ourselves on purpose. We did not become in the right mind until the next day and were having trouble breathing and staying awake and were not making any kind of sense.. We were still not completely right from this even a few days later.. This was the worst experience of our lives and do not wish this on anyone. I do appreciate that this does affect everyone differently but we did not ask for this and were lead under the wrong impression and feel as if we were drugged. Please heed the warnings of this supposed LEGAL drug because I feel in my opinion that they are way more dangerous than the Illegal and are more highly accessible to obtain by even a younger crowd.. Our children of this world do not deserve to be presented with such a dangerous legal substitute.

It is not good for anything in this world and costs, endangers your health and well being and your reputation.
