Donald Trump Wants Al Gore’s Nobel Half-Prize Rescinded

The global warming debate is heating up. (Pun intended). The past month or so has been very upsetting to both Democrats and man-caused global warming advocates. I notice where President Obama is donning his shining armor and is off to fight the embattled Democrats election woes. If his help goes as it did with the Summer Olympics committee, and his other summit meetings, I'm sure the Republicans are shaking in their boots. He still doesn't realize that he is the cause of those woes and can only make them worse.
Trump, in a speech to 500 at his businessman's Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, New York, made the following remarks:
"With the coldest winter ever recorded, with snow setting record levels up and down the coast, the Nobel committee should take the Nobel Prize back from Al Gore. Gore wants us to clean up our factories and plants in order to protect us from global warming, when China and other countries couldn't care less. It would make us totally non-competitive in the manufacturing world, and China, Japan and India are laughing at America's stupidity."
While I agree with Mr. Trump, his reasons are not that convincing. It has not been the coldest winter on record and the heavy snowfalls prove nothing. But there are plenty of other evidences which are significant.
Dr. Phil Jones, director of the prestigious Climatic Research Unit of Britain's East Anglia University has been asked to step down from his position while an independent investigation is conducted into allegations that he overstated the case for man-made climate change. These allegations were forthcoming following the posting on the web of over a decade of email correspondence.
Much of the data contained in those emails have not been verified and their sources seem to have been lost or non existent. Dr. Jones readily admits that he is a poor one to keep records, and after questioning he admitted also that there had been no "statistically significant warming" since 1995. He still, however, contends that this is only a blip and that warming will continue (??).
He also admitted that there have been two similar periods of warming. One was between 1910 and 1940, the other, the present one, between 1975 and 1998.
When proponents of the man-made warming trend are asked how, it is always that the extra CO2 emissions that we have put into the atmosphere. This makes no sense. The atmosphere contains 0.0350% (about 1/3 of one percent) carbon dioxide (CO2). This minute amount, according to some scientists can vary considerably without affecting the overall atmospheric temperature. Water vapor content in the atmosphere however, varies but is many times higher than that of CO2 and has a much stronger effect on our temperatures.

Gore and The UN IPCC should be forced to give back their Nobel Peace Prize. The flaws in Gore's film and the errors in the 2007 UN IPCC Report that have been discovered since the award was given should disqualify both parties. Irena Sendler who risked her life daily during World War II to save the lives of over 2,500 Jewish children is much more deserving. I have signed the petition and I hope many more do. I agreewith you. They should never have gotten it to begin with. The Nobel Peace Prize has lost all it's value, it's meaning and prestige. If Jimmy Carter, Yasser Arafat, Gore and the U.N. deserve it, there are many canines which should have had it also. All those military dogs do more for the world than those people.
