Obama Straddles A Hot Seat With CAIR; We’ll See Where He Stands

The Council On American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was founded in 1994 by two men. Before forming this organization, Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad were officers in the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). Awad was the Public Relations Director and Ahmad was the President. The IAP was the public relations and recruiting organization for the Palestinian Hamas in the U.S. and was begun by Mousa Abu Marzook , a senior operative of Hamas.
It began with a donation of $5,000 from the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, a money raising organization started by Mousa Abu Marzook mentioned above.
The U.S. Government extradited Marzook in 1996 because of his connection in terrorists actions of Hamas. The CAIR organization conducted a press conference to protest his extradition, claiming the act was anti-Islamic and anti-American. Then when President George Bush closed the HLF some time after 9/11 because it was soliciting and raising funds for the Hamas Terrorists, they pronounced the action as "unjust and disturbing". Every action taken against the various terrorists, has been met with criticism by the CAIR leaders.

According to World Net Daily, the Saudi Prince who owns high stakes in the parent company of Fox News, also bankrolls the Washington-based CAIR. And the National Communications Director for CAIR, Ibrahim Hooper, has boasted that they own the media.
Presently, CAIR has a lawsuit against a father and son, P. David Gaubatz and Chris Gaubatz. Chris Gaubatz posed as a Muslim Internship at their National office in Washington and took 12,000 sheets of documents scheduled for shredding. He stated this was in an effort to expose their ties to Islamic jihad and terrorism.
Attorney David Horowitz for the Gaubatz has filed a motion for dismissal of the suit since the organization CAIR no longer exists. In May 2007, the Justice Department named CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in largest terrorist finance case in U.S. history. Federal Judge Coleen Kollar-Kotelly of Washington District Court gave CAIR until January 15 to reply to the motion for dismissal.
Nahad Awad, the National Executive Director of CAIR, has appealed to President Obama to address the "alarming level of anti-Islam hate in our nation".
He does this even after it has been shown that many of the mosques he so protects, teach hate and anti-Americanism. This is a known terrorist connected organization teaching anti-Christian, anti-Jew and anti-American and yet they want the president to intervene because many hate them.
