Hundreds Of Climate Change Scientists Emails Hacked: Reveals Infighting

Hackers invaded files of scientists emails concerning their research on climate change and it has proven at least two points of interest. I have access to them all and they are far too lengthy and comprehensive to even consider reading them all. Besides, some are highly technical and unless your education is associated with that area of science, some of those are difficult to understand. I have, thus far, read some 15 or 20 of them in about 5 or 6 hours and plan to read many more.

Several article headlines indicate that hackers have found fraudulent scientific reports being acknowledged, proof that there were many in collusion to push the man-made global warming, etc. Thus far, I have found no evidence of that and I suspect that those particular facts may be exaggerated or fabricated. However, I have already found numerous indications of infighting among the various scientists groups (some call them tribes). Plus I find that the claim of widespread "consensus" among reputable scientists to be very much exaggerated.

I also found evidence to prove much of my previous speculation that many of them will do whatever it takes to assure their continued grants. Due to the vastness of this group of emails and the length and technicalities involved, reading and coming up with facts will prove, for me at least, laborious. But I intend to continue trying until I create bats in my belfry. If I find any "smoking gun" or as Robert March headlines it, "not a smoking gun but a mushroom cloud", I'll report on it.

A number of these people, the ones I gather are the most honest, are fighting the others to only make their findings available to the public and be transparent in what I refer to as being honest, by explaining in understandable language, the implications of their findings. And in view of the fact that much of their livelihoods are from public funds, I believe they should do so.

You may find all of the emails listed chronologically dating from March 7, 1996 to November 12, 2009: http://www.anelegantchaos.org/cru/index.php

Here is a link to an article by Steve McIntyre who reprints a letter here from Judy Curry concerning the credibility of climate research and refers to the hacked emails. http://camirror.wordpress.com/2009/11/22/curry-on-the-credibility-of-climate-research/

Hi Alexis, thank you for commenting and also, welcome to Searchwarp. I agree whole heartedly with you on global pollution, BUT, carbon dioxide of which many are blaming the global warming, is not a pollutant. It is a naturally occurring chemical and is vital to our environment. I do not believe it is the cause of global warming. I have written 2 or 3 other articles in the past on global warming. Just click on my name next to my photo and from there, you can scan down until you find them.

I too studied AGW. I also thought there might be some basis for AGW. Then I really started looking at the facts and realized there is global climate change but it isn't caused by man. The old adage follow the money proves to be true again and again. The last time there was scientific consenses the world was flat. Good stuff.

Thank you Jim, I agree. Unfortunately, almost everything any more is driven by big money, except me...I can't get a dime of it. :o)
