MoveOn.org Threatens "Blue Dog" Congressional Democrats

During the previous election, the George Soros' organization known as MoveOn.org, spent millions of dollars in support and promotion of the DNC candidates including members of congress as well as the president. It and the political action committee, "Democracy For America" formed with the help of Howard Dean, plus the UAW, other unions and trial lawyers, were responsible for the campaign raising almost a billion dollars. Without their help, the administration would be far different than it is.
The MoveOn.org, according to an email sent to their members, has raised $3.5 million dollars to fund challengers in the primary elections against any Democrat senator who helps to block an up-or-down vote on a healthcare bill with a public option. The email also warned any Democrats in the house of representatives against joining the Republicans to filibuster the health care reform bill will "face an enormous backlash from the grassroots".
To go even further, Howard Dean's Democracy for America PAC (reportedly the largest PAC in the U.S.), sent a letter to the Democrats in the Senate urging them to strip any committee chairmanship from "any Democrat who filibusters Health Care".
These two groups hold tremendous influence upon the Democratic members of congress, and it is difficult for any such member to go against them. It will be interesting to see who has more influence, these money men, or the congressmen's constituency...the voters. Those members of congress whose ethics and character is strong, will listen to their voters, and their voters ought to repay them by standing with them, both by voting and by contributing funds to help offset those dollars from the wealthy organizations.
The type pressure being exerted on our legislators by such organizations should be illegal. George Soros, especially, whose disdain for the United States is known throughout the world. Nothing will please the man more than a total collapse of our nation. He and his organization should be classified as subversive and disbanded.
The administration leadership is putting forth data which is faulty concerning the bills being offered. One of the primary goals has been that of keeping the cost of the program under one trillion dollars for a period of 10 years. But they deceive you by starting their timing early. Read the following information according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the only place you can get a true picture.
First, we need to get past the misleading accounting games. Each bill is routinely "scored" for its 10-year costs from 2010-19. Yet this includes several years when the spending wouldn't yet have kicked in. According to the Congressional Budget Office, fully 99.9 percent of the Pelosi bill's costs would hit from 2013 onward. Now keep those dates in mind, they are very important. The cuts, savings, taxes and or penalties or fees, would kick in immediately, so there would be three years of income on Pelosi's bill before any costs hit and four years on Reid's the same way. So the only true picture you can get here is to figure the ten years from the time the costs begin and the CBO has those figures.
Pelosi's House bill, figuring from 2013 through 2022, the cost would be $1.8 trillion...almost twice the goal they were shooting to stay under. Reid's Senate bill would cost $1.7 trillion from 2014 through 2023. And a provision which is being kept as quiet as possible is that these figures include: for the House bill, pulling $800 billion from Medicare, if you don't count that, it's cost would be $2.6 trillion!
And the Senate bill would pull $900 billion from Medicare, raising it's cost without the Medicare money, to the same level as that of the House bill...$2.6 trillion!
Most people are simply shrugging their shoulders at those figures, especially the taking funds from Medicare. But tell me how this is going to keep from being catastrophic when the Medicare-Medicaid fund is now broke. Or at least will be in a few short years.
The fact of the matter is, we are not in condition at this point in time to support such a massive undertaking. The nearly $2 trillion dollars doesn't end in ten years, it goes right on. The government's spending deficit is expected to continue into the future as far as one can see, unless much drastic reduction in spending is done. But rather, there is heavy spending being planned in other matters as well. These tremendous spending plans do not bode well for our progeny. And oddly it seems the younger generation is naively for it. Someone must pay for all this, young people, and it is you. For more information and confirmation of what I have written read this:

I am for health care reform 100% and would like to see complete socialized medicine, which will eventually happen because of the tentacles of greed permeating the entire health care for profit system. So I guess we will cancel each others votes!
Moveon (dot) Org is simply defending liberals from the right wing rhetoric of the past 30 years since Reagan killed the middle class hopes for equal health care beginning with his "Operation Coffee Cup" and finally his Trickle Up Economics (better known as "Let them scramble for the crumbs that we wealthy leave behind"). Just my humble opinion. It seems that the Republican party, ever since it made the comment that health care would be our great populists president Obama's waterloo, has done everything in the book, including lying, to obstruct any health care improvement. They sure didn't have tea parties when Bush broke us in Iraq!

I'm unaccustomed to such. I'm thankful that we can disagree and remain friends. I believe though, that these expenditures are going to destroy us, if not controlled. You see, I'm old, no longer good for anything in society and yet, I am dependent upon government funds. However, I paid into it big time for over 45 years, expecting to receive the benefits. I simply hate to see it go down the drain with the government instability. I pray I'm wrong. You will rue the day when this happens. There will never be a better system than what we have right now. If the government can't run social security, Medicare, Medicare, the BIA the Veterans hospital why do you think somehow they will do better this time. I read the comments from others. It is unbelievable that anyone can think that a government can do anything well. Name one thing just one thing the government does well?
