Climate Change Problem Switches To Global Cooling

Scientists, who were not on the fat grants payroll, have been telling us all along that man made emissions were not the cause of global warming. They have also informed us that the fluctuations in global temperatures comes in cycles, due to the solar cycles of sunspots and sun locations in regard to the earth. They have been shown to be accurate since the solar activity decreased dramatically in 1997-98 and the global temperature has been dropping since 1998.
Now, all four major global temperature tracking stations, Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH and RSS, reported the average global temperatures for the year 2008 showed the most extreme change for a single year in recorded history. Downward. And the drop was to a point that has not been lower for over 100 years! NASA, which has been a major proponent of human causes of global warming is now taking a closer look at the possibility of solar changes as the cause. It's about time. Here are the findings of the four stations:
NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies, NY (GISS) (-.75 C)
U.K. Hadley Climate Research Unit, Norwich (-.595 C )
University Of Alabama, Huntsville AL(UAH) (-.588 C)
Remote Sensing System (RSS) Santa Rosa Ca. (-.629 C)
There have been billions of dollars in grants to various scientific laboratories, universities and observatories, and they have yet to prove that carbon dioxide is noticeably contributing to our global temperatures. Certainly we all know that any pollutants in our lower atmosphere are hazardous to our health and we should attempt to control them, which we have been doing now for years. But the horrible part of these advocates of global warming being man made, is that they are gobbling up taxpayer monies for no reason. And they are advocating the spending of trillions more in an effort to "save the planet". Plus penalizing the poor who are struggling to pay their bills, by trying to do away with economical energy.
Our nation, and indeed the globe, is in it's sorriest financial condition in almost a century and yet we are pouring billions of dollars into a lost cause and entering into an all out effort to spend trillions on alternative energy. We need it, but not so drastically soon as to place the poor folk into a starvation mode and shackle our progeny with debts they will suffer from throughout their lives. May God forgive us for bringing children into such a mess.

Just this past summer was a case in point. Our electric bill was considerably lower than the previous year despite an increase in our rate. Hi there, Joel. As you alluded to in your article, man-made global warming has become a money maker for those who bet on it. Also, the hard-core global warmists (if I may coin a word) are bound to insist on their agenda in order to save face; it would be too embarrassing for them to 'apologize' now. Thanks for helping to dispel the myth of man-made global warming, especially at a time when the globe may actually be cooling, as these real, un-bribed scientists have pointed out. Good write. Frankly I like warm weather more than cold, but I get really irritated when people try to sell something based on nothing.
Wow Joel, I swear, I learn something new everyday...what wonderful research you did on this, not to mention a extremely informational piece. This has been an ongoing argument between my brother in law, (his name is Wayne) and I, I have always said that it was because of man made polution, and he has always said it is a "Normal" cycle of the earth, that it under-goes "Naturally", and it turns out he is right, (he, my father always told me it took a bigger man who admits he is wrong), and I am admitting it God rest his soul....he would be patting me on the back right now. This is amazing, and it makes sense most of all!!! NASA was way off, and that amazes me because they are involved in space, as well as environmental so I thought. I have a sister in law, her name is Sher, and she is working with an organization, where the predict and forecast "Space Weather Conditions", and I never even knew that existed...and yes...the do have "space storm conditions"...that amazed me. I appreciate you for putting this to rest for me, and my brother in law is going to be shocked when we get into this debate, and I say..."Your right". He is going to faint right there, (not that I am stubborn or anything) hahahaha.
