Overwhelming Evidence For The Existence Of God

Atheists and macro evolutionists always accuse those of us who believe in God and the Bible as His inspired word, as doing so with blind faith. Just accepting it because we've always been taught that and have no common sense or evidence to back our faith. On the other hand, I accuse them of the same. So, it is my desire to show as much biblical evidence as space will permit. We will not, again, try to show why atheism and macroevolution has no evidence whatsoever for their stand since I have other articles laying that out. But I have also collected over 1,000 quotes from die hard evolutionists admitting that they have found nothing to prove their theory after 150 years of trying. Also admitting that there is more evidence for creationism than for macroevolution. Yet they are quick to say that they will not entertain any idea of a supernatural being or power and that they know their evidence will be forthcoming sometime in the future. Now that is blind faith.
And again in Jeremiah 33:32 written about 588 B.C. (3416 A.M.) "As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me."
These two verses very plainly show that the stars in the heavens were too vast to be numbered, yet people of that day thought that they could be, and many tried. One of the early astronomers of note, named Ptolemy, tried to count them in 150 A.D. and determined there were 1,056. Then centuries later, in 1575 A.D. Tyco Brah counted and decided there were 777. Twenty five years later, the German astronomer Johannes Kepler counted them and arrived at 1005. If we consider that these relatively recent (Kepler in 1600) and more knowledgeable astronomers had so very small a recognition of how vast the universe was, how then could those ancient biblical writers know that the universe held innumerable stars? Today, with technological advances, the great Hubble telescope, and other such assets, in 2003, the latest estimation was that of seventy sextillion (seventy with 21 zeros added to it) stars. There is an estimated one billion galaxies. There is no reason to doubt that these estimates may be far short.
Before we leave the subject of how vast this universe is, I wish to take one jab at origins again. This one (out of the estimated billion) galaxy of ours is itself so very large that traveling at the speed of light (over 186,000 miles per second), it would take 100,000 years to cross it. Now, add to that the other billion galaxies they now estimate to exist, and tell me how a "singular the size of a dime" could possibly have been pressured into a density so great as to explode and create this universe. Especially when absolutely nothing existed before that. And they profess to tell us that common sense should eliminate our God.
How did we derive our methods of time measurements? Our day? It is the measurement of time which it takes for the earth to make one cycle. Simple. What about a month? It is an approximation of time consumed in the moon's travel around the earth. Year? A very close time in which the earth goes around the sun. But what about our week? It is a measurement of nothing insofar as the movement of our sun, moon, stars, earth and so on. This period of time was initiated by God Himself. First it is noted that He created the heavens and the earth and all that are in them in six days. Genesis chapter one.
In Exodus 16:23, the seventh day was introduced as a Sabbath day unto the Lord: "And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning."
And Moses adds the following in Exodus 20:11: "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."
Atheists and macro-evolutionists forever accuse those referred to as creationists as opposing scientific evidence and scientific facts and conclusions. Not true. Show us a scientific fact or law and we'll accept it. Creationism is far more compatible with science than with scientists. Scientists accept suppositions with no scientific evidence to back them up. Scientists with all their sophisticated equipment and education cannot accurately predict the weather a large percentage of the time. They state that certain foods are extremely valuable for our well being and soon tell us we will increase our chances of cancer if we eat them. Then they give us the scenario of the origin of the universe described above. Do you believe them enough to risk your soul with them? When the Holy Bible has been 100% accurate in it's prophecies, it's geographic statements, it's historical accounts and other such items. When the writers could not have known those things they wrote without the inspiration of God.
The utter unbelievable complexity of the universe, earth's positioning, varieties of plants and animals and the human body should be conclusive evidence that all of this did not happen by accident and originating from nothing. And they have the audacity to accuse us of having blind faith. If everything else could be explained by natural causes, the human eye would defy any such conclusion. Charles Darwin himself said, "That the eye, with all of its inimitable contrivances, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."
Darwin also said, "If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight mutations, my theory would absolutely break down." The eye is such an organ and his theory is indeed broken down. A human eye contains 7,000,000 cones which gives the ability to see in perfect color. It has 1,000,000 rods which allows it to see in black whites and grays. It is connected to the brain by 300,000 nerves. Supposedly occurring by innumerable tiny accidents?? Even a single cell has been shown to be irreducibly complex. But nothing daunts these hard shelled unbelievers. They insist that their evidence will come regardless of how unscientific it is. Blind faith.
These examples are given to encourage study and meditation. They are but a miniscule portion of those facts which prove the existence of God
The laws of physics cry for an answer which can only be found in a supernatural being. And no man today can come close to inventing the answers, Yet from 1500 B.C. to 100 A.D, the ancient writers were able to come up with answers to every conceivable question. Answers which have survived onslaughts and broadsides from skeptics, atheists, and other enemies for over 2,000 years. How can God override natural laws? He created them, he can alter them at will.

Top-level comments on this article: (1 total)Even Darwin himself was able to demonstrate that the eye is not irreducibly complex, and in the years since Darwin it has been shown that the eye has evolved not once, but many times, and in many varying forms. The evidence that the eye is the result of a process of evolution is overwhelming. Human eyes in particular contain a telling imperfection that would strongly indicate that if they were created by a designer, that designer was far from perfect.Ben, please don't criticize other folks writings when you can't back a thing up. You don't have one iota of evidence that any eye has ever evolved into another type of eye and you know it. And the designer designed ever eye exactly as He intended them to be. Let's see someone make a better one. Why don't you write an article explaining just how the eye is not irreducibly complex, without saying it grew from another eye? It so happens that I knew already that they claim it is not. They claimed nothing was not, until Behe showed them that the individual human cell was. And that bothered them so much that they black-balled him.
